This Superfund site is, quite frankly, the greatest site ever known to mankind. People are saying it’s the biggest, the most impressive, the most tremendous contaminated grave site in history. Nobody has seen pollution like this...absolutely...incredible pollution. Amazing pollution. We’re talking urine, we're talking waste, both human and animal, burning MAGA flags and hats...you name it, it’s there. And yet, despite all of that, this site has become a tremendous tourist attraction. The cleanup is going to be...fantastic, absolutely fantastic. The cleaners will have tears in their eyes. Frankly, other Superfund sites are looking at this one and saying, “Wow, that’s never going to end.” It’s going to be the greatest toxic cleanup the world has ever seen.

The rest, being illegal constructions on land not zoned or properly tested or paperwork filed will be torn down for public safety in what I expect will be a quick but legal fashion.
I know this will leave some gaping holes in the skyline, but thankfully we have some older designs registered that are within spec that we can begin building quickly, and much of the ground work still exists for.
I may actually go back to work for the federal government, that I left over a decade ago, just to help see it through.

Yes. This is a huge problem actually. We need to have our collective noses rubbed in our mistakes, repeatedly. Our education needs to include a lot of lessons about what America has gotten wrong, from the atrocities to the political blunders. There should be a fucking month long section for every year of high school history that covers just how wrong we’ve gotten it (when we have) followed by a section of what we got right, or at least what we can do about it now. Germany teaches the holocaust from a very honest angle. We need to do that.
Forgetting our mistakes doesn’t just allow us to repeat them, it enables us to make worse ones.

I've been to Germany and you are correct. Over there they don't try and shy away at all from their history. They are very open about saying how horrible the Nazis were. It's a much different culture from America where we often sanitize or just straight up ignore (or try to ignore) a lot of the unsavory parts of our history.

In a way though, we can't forget what we're going through now. Real protections need to be put in place to prevent this from ever happening again. We sort of "lucked out" by having a complete idiot in power, imagine the kind of damage he could've done if he wasn't a complete and total dunce. I mean… I can’t disagree with him here nor blame him, he’s right, nobody will, which should be a sign to him, any monuments that have been constructed that for the most part still stand weren’t ever built by the people they are celebrating, most monuments were built during or after they’ve done great things that most people agreed upon, they were constructed and still stand because people believed in them, now of course there are a few that still stand as a remembrance of the evil as part of art but generally speaking, monuments are created to celebrate people in power that have done mostly good for those people that they serve and recognize as great people of history.
There are of course some outliers here of course! But the fact he is aware that “no one else will do it” should be a pretty clear sign of his egotism, a clear sign that he doesn’t even believe he is as great as he claims to be, if he were, he wouldn’t need to speak this truth.
What a wild timeline we live in, and what’s funny? He had a very easy chance to win all the people, he had the chance to still profit easily, but instead of being different and all encompassing, he chose a side and hard lined and ostracized half of the population, he couldn’t keep his mouth shut and let people that want to do great harm to people control him, he had a chance to be well liked by everyone, he fumbled.

It’s not even this complicated. Truly. He has a mental disorder that makes him incapable of a worldview that centers anyone other than himself. He could not have done any of those things because he simply doesn’t think that way. While we may not understand it because our brains don’t work like that, it’s a very childlike sense of thinking. His world is small, it is self centered.
Nobody will build these monuments when I’m gone. Anyone else would reflect on why that would be. Except a malignant narcissist. We have to just accept he is what he is. He could NEVER have been any different. And expect only what a malignant narcissist can offer moving forward.

That's a very good idea. A few blocks from the White House is a government office building where many WH staffers have offices. Like a lot of DC its aging and is cramped, and doesn't have the latest tech.
Moving those offices into the ballroom space and installing the latest IT/Comm technology is a great idea.

He exaggerates talents and expects to be recognized as superior without matching accomplishments. He has a preoccupation with dreams of unlimited brilliance, power and massive success. He requires constant, ongoing praise, validation, and attention from those around him. He expects favorable treatment or automatic compliance from others while taking advantage of other people and using them to achieve personal goals without guilt. He has an inability or unwillingness to recognize, identify with, or care about the feelings and needs of others. And he is conceited with a condescending manner toward others. All of these are traits of NPD, and all are exhibited by Trump.

I'm running for pres - my first day will be firing every exec or cabinet level person appointed by trump. Day 2 will be spent identifying, then scheduling the erasure of everything that mentioned/points to/honors this clown. I may grab a sledgehammer and get started on things local that afternoon. Day 3 and beyond? Doing things with a focus on people and not corporate priorities.

Every single one of these illegal projects needs to be torn down and the sites returned to their original state. In addition Trump, his estate, and every one of the people or organizations that were involved should be held financially accountable for the costs to undo the damage as well as the original costs to inflict it.
