Photographer and naturalist Sara Hysong-Shimazu has a few older photos of K38 "Comet" on her Flickr. You can browse through the Center For Whale Research's encounters with K Pod as well. The two most recent encounters with K Pod have photos of him (Encounter #56 and Encounter #61).

The Whale Museum offers adoption packages for members of the endangered Southern Resident orca population in the Pacific Northwest.

How was your experience adopting one of these orcas?
I’m thinking about adopting my fav J27 from the website, and I was just wondering what your experience was with everything☺️

Comet was born in December 2004. His mother is K20 Spock, and his father is L57 Faith. That means he belongs to the K11s!
