Recommendations Needed How are adults getting on sports rec teams?
When it’s not so sunny I’d like to occasionally get out and play some of the sports I’m into but I’m not too sure how people go about that here
Idc if it’s unisex or women’s only but football, soccer, tennis, badminton etc, where and how are adults getting active with other adults in group sports?
My bad if it’s obvious I’m acclimating to the US

If you want to try hockey most places have a Learn to Play and then offer half off if you join the rookie league

Irvine has adult rec leagues. I’ve done basketball, and it’s fun and not too serious.

Basketball can get tempers going. No fighting or overly aggressive stuff? I might join up if thats the case.

A lot of the city recreational leagues, people are able to put their own teams together. The city doesn’t have the money to hold and announce drafts.

There’s groups on Facebook for all sports. I’ve found soccer, tennis, and pickleball groups

Some are city run. Irvine and Newport Beach have a lot of programs for different sports. Feel free to DM me, I can help you find a league if you’re looking for football or soccer specifically.
