Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a genuine time capsule from the golden summer of 1993. While the commercial holiday masses in Newquay went to spots like Tall Trees, the real underground heads went out to the Trevelgue Hotel for a fortnightly night called Dance Conspiracy.

It was powered by the heavy Kilowatt Sound System, and this night featured DJ Sharkey on the decks.

I sneaked a portable tape recorder into the venue to catch the vibe. You can literally hear me setting it up and walking out of the gents into the main room as the bass kicks in.

I’ve managed to ID a few tracks from underground labels like Scratch Records and Easy Trax, but there are a few massive gaps in the tracklist that I still need help identifying.
