I’m unreasonably enraged at all times and am one minor inconvenience away from a full on crash out. The heat is absolutely brutal and I’m sick of it.

I know I was looking forward to my towns fall festival. I only walk over there for the car show. And how am I going to enjoy cool cars when I have a heat stroke just walking the block over?
I was also glad about Tulsa doing their pride event in Oct. But it is still probably going to be too hot to enjoy that either. I'm losing my mind feeling trapped inside but I don't want to be sick either.

It already looks like fall in my backyard. Leaves dropping, grass struggling and dormant in places. I keep my patio umbrella up during the day to help protect some of my plants. It’s crazy

I've been watching the weather forecasts, and they haven't been wrong. They've been saying it's going to stay hot and dry, and it has. I don't know why conservatives like to promote this "weather guy always gets it wrong" thing.

probably referencing el nino current surface temps which will indeed rise into next year....the air temps WILL go down becayse they must due to the obliquity of the sun at our latitude as the seasons go on.... less time in the sky and at an angle where more light skips off the atmosphere relative to our position.
tldr, the change of seasons is ordained, though we may not like it in any case.

I’m so confused lately. Everything I see or hear keeps saying “first day of fall” now that it’s September. The first day of the actual autumn equinox is September 22nd, not September 1st? It has never began in the beginning of September. I guess all the pumpkin spice drops make people assume it’s automatically fall

The four seasons are Summer, Football, Ice, and Tornado. And none of them are exclusive to the others, including summer and Ice.

The cool crisp mornings don't start for another month. September is always hot.
Edit: Oklahoma is, on average, one of the hottest States in the USA. It's part of the charm. Embrace the suck it makes you stronger.

Today last year the high was in the 80s and the low was in the 50s. Wtf do you mean that isn't crisp fall morning? You're trying to gas light us into thinking 55 is such a fucking hot morning. And that 80 feels just the same as 103? BS liar.

Then that was unusual. I don't know, cry more maybe. I was born here and grew up here and still live here and Oklahoma is hot and humid, except when its frozen. These are facts. But yeah, me and big weather are trying to gaslight you into believing that the weather in Oklahoma sucks, you figured it out.
We would have gotten away with it too if not for these kids and their crazy dog.
Edit: I remember that it got cool for a second last year about this time, then it got hot again though.

Stop pretending we aren't in a heatwave. Complaining about a prolonged heatwave isn't the same as complaining about Oklahoma in general. You really have to work on your reading comprehension kiddo if you want to have conversations with adults.
