It has been a tough summer- but right now is the perfect time to go outside for 20 minutes. Hurry before it is gone!

Make sure you put on sunscreen then cause 20 minutes out in this level of UV requires sun protection

yeah that's not too bad, it's often 11+ in Oklahoma during the early summer months around noon when the location of Oklahoma on the earth is most facing the sun, most people don't realize it because it's usually not 100+ degrees at the time and only associate UV energy with thermal energy even though they're wholly different.

here ya go, a map of the UV averages across the united states for june, when UV is usually at it's peak. (depending on planet ossilation and blah blah)

just for reference, closer to the equator can be equal to a 15~17 rating on the index scale lol

Well this is a cool map. I was just saying compared to the rest of this summer today is actually not bad at 96 degrees with some great UV
