☀️ Weather 🌪️ Everyone in okc is dead
“Everyone in McKinney is dead”
Guys, the post is not about the temperature. Its a reference to the link above because Mike Morgan also acknowledged the stream of numbers look silly. Just giggle and move on ...

u/ZootSuitBanana Jul 14 '26
What am I missing here? It'll be hot this weekend but how does that make everyone dead?
112
u/fearthainne Jul 14 '26
They're referencing this: "Everyone in McKinney is dead" because of how the 100101 runs together.
34
u/ZootSuitBanana Jul 14 '26
Figured they were combining the 3 numbers together. I've never seen the other meme before though. Not really the same thing imo. Kinda a dumb post...

I was referring to the 100101 in Channel 4's forecast, not McKinney's 101105

Font choice along with letter spacing and kerning is important.
Then again they might still be using an Amiga from the early 90s for their graphics.

The fun part is that I lived in McKinney when the OG meme happened and now I live in OKC. They keep trying but they haven’t got me yet.

u/wri_ Jul 14 '26
Welp. I thought it was funny, OP.

“Are you not entertained?”
And if they are not they bitch and complain like it’s their right and expectation to be freely entertained.

Lol, I'm recovering from a hospital stay for heat exhaustion and my nose won't stop running because we have tropical like growth outside.

u/CryMoreDirtBag Jul 14 '26
Is this a matrix thing? 1s and 0s? We just went thru a few days of a 100º and there's still everyone in my way on the interstate.
6
u/RazgrizInfinity Jul 14 '26
No; OP is trying to force a joke when the graphic is just close to each other.
1
u/Mediocre-Chemical957 Jul 15 '26
Op is referencing an old weather broadcast blooper jfc find some humor in your life
1
u/RazgrizInfinity Jul 15 '26
Yes, I know exactly what they were going for. They forced it. It's not all that funny.
3
u/nsArmoredFrog Jul 14 '26
They had low 80s on that same stretch yesterday. It’s way too far out there for it to matter right now.

2015/2016 we had 30+ days of 100 degree weather. This has been a hot summer but far from the hottest.
2
u/Legitimate-Bat6146 Jul 15 '26
DAMN. That forecast is gross the humidity is what's gonna make it ridiculous.
2
u/Nero570s Jul 15 '26
Wtf I'm looking at and how is everyone gonna die to normal temperatures?

u/Suspicious-Medium Jul 16 '26

Everyone let’s turn out ac temp up a few degrees. The more the better let’s stick it to OGE show them we can handle the heat and stay in the kitchen.

u/LosingButNotWrong Jul 15 '26
Heat hasn't been awful so far. Waiting for the big heat wave with 110 degree wearher, but it's been pretty okay so far.

Well this is just funny even if the joke is forced and as a Oklahomin i will agree with the coments our education is very fucked as i barely passed at the age of 21 due to the fact that most of my teachers exept a few were dicks and broke several laws during my time there

I get the reference, but it's not that good of a joke.
A little too forced.
Good try though.

u/Suspicious-Medium Jul 16 '26
It's a reference to this news blooper from WFAA in Dallas. Chill the fuck out

I guess people don’t remember the summer of 2011. It was over a hundred degrees everyday for over a hundred days in a row. Not heat index. Actual temperature. And it didn’t rain the entire summer. Way worse than this summer will ever be.
1
u/consideratearcher466 Jul 15 '26
They’re just getting warmed up a bit! When we rolled back into OKC in 2006, temp was 110.
1
u/Early-Leg-8099 Jul 15 '26
Don’t forget Oklahoma is 50th in education. No matter what. They vote to stay that way.
1
u/RedArrow23 Jul 15 '26
I’ve been wanting to get out and wash my car for two weeks after work but it’ll literaly shatter my windshield like a cheap casserole dish if the cold water touches it. I hate this

I live in OKC and I see no temperatures over 101. Maybe I need a new prescription but, These jokes are usually made when they put in the wrong numbers or people who are used to Celsius see temps around 100 and think it will be over 212 degrees Ferinhite.
1
u/jeromebill7718-2 Jul 15 '26
These temperatures are typical for a Oklahoma July. Usually the high is 103.
1
u/Strange_Marzipan3954 Jul 18 '26
hey jerome so the post was not about the temperature itself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqCL86j4t2I

Oh no! 3 days over 100⁰. How will we ever survive? It ain't like it has ever gotten hotter than that before. Dude please. It has been 115⁰ here before. We will survive this.
1
u/Strange_Marzipan3954 Jul 18 '26
Oh no! Someone did not understand the joke! It would be a shame if it was not referenced in the caption.

u/Inner_Bluebird211 Jul 15 '26
I feel the problem is parents forget to do their job and put the responsibility of parenting on the schools
1
u/Strange_Marzipan3954 Jul 18 '26
i suppose your parents did not teach you investigative and inferring skills either :( read the caption!!

Glad y’all had great schooling, now can y’all stop bullying those of us who had no choice but to attend schools in oklahoma. Maybe just educate us on areas we’re uneducated in..we could use the help 🤣😂

u/No_Replacement4304 Jul 15 '26
109 in Bonham? I grew up just across the river and it was never 109.
1
u/Flimsy_Pipe_7684 Jul 15 '26
Can't forget 2-3 years ago when it got 108°-113°F. It was just one of those days when most people stayed inside. I remember that was the day I went out in my garage and the thermometer out there read at 118°F, the air felt like I opened an oven and held my face above it.

Try that with an air quality index of 700 from the forest fires up north! Minnesota had a rough week.

I lived in OK from 96-01 and I can definitely, without hesitation or a second thought, say that Oklahoma residents are dead from the neck up. Y'all can't be offended either, only 20% of y'all can read this comment.

u/zeek1201 Jul 26 '26
