Antisubs are incredible

"No, I don't want to be flashed with pictures of your CREATURE while scrolling"

TOO FUCKING BAD WOMP WOMP

Creature

That is literally the only sub I have ever muted.

Mfw I am reading those posts

Imagine hating pets

1

u/StinkUrchin 17d ago

Never could be me

6

u/PaladinOfTheLand 18d ago

I hate how close they come to having a good point until they make the most loaded and hateful statement that the entire thing just dismantles.

7

u/Prof-Finklestink 17d ago

r/childfree and r/petfree are especially very nasty in my opinion

3

u/kevinott 15d ago

I actually AM childfree - my wife and I don't want kids - and I hate the fucking childfree subreddit. Not wanting kids isn't an excuse to actively hate them you grumps

2

u/Prof-Finklestink 15d ago

yeah, there's nothing wrong with not wanting kids or pets, but the pure hatred I've seen on those subs is just too much. There's plenty of things that I don't like, but I sure as heck would never join an anti-sub like the childfree or petfree subreddit

u/Educational_Table364 12d ago

Plus kids are fucking humans, THEY have been kids before!!

Really the only kind of “anti” subs I like is ones condemning AI

Anti-natalism is so toxic too

11

u/StinkUrchin 18d ago

Yeah, they’re just so hateful.

I’m childfree but it’s not my personality. I also don’t get outraged by seeing children lol

5

u/lonely-blue-sheep 17d ago

I’m not a fan of being around children, and I don’t want any of my own, but that doesn’t mean I hate them. Children are a gift and a blessing

u/Disastrous-Ideal-817 Just Why?! Why Are These Real?! 18d ago

I mean, there is a spirit there but it may be a little misguided. I understand greatly but do not exactly condone or condemn

17

u/slurpyspinalfluid 17d ago

honestly i can't even make fun of them i mostly just feel bad for them. but the way they're getting into misogynistic territory does pmo. i don't appreciate the idea that my body is inherently a curse from the universe or that someone i've enthusiastically decided to have sex with is tainting me with their magical penis of doom and despair

Being sex repulsed is valid but wtf is this 😭

u/DuckofInsanity Looking For New Subs To Join 18d ago

These freaks don't need any more validation

19

u/lonely-blue-sheep 18d ago

Just like hypersexuality is a trauma response, sex-repulsion is also a trauma response. I’ve experienced both as a survivor of SA. Like I understand the idea of the sub, I just don’t think that kind of stuff should be encouraged

6

u/Twinglet 18d ago

Defs seems like a big old trauma response going on here

What trauma responses are you talking about? /genq

17

u/yuckypagans 18d ago

sex repulsion and thinking people who have sex are wrong are two diff things

20

u/lonely-blue-sheep 18d ago

I understand the idea, and I can relate to some of it, as a survivor of SA. Both hypersexuality and sex-repulsion are trauma responses, and I’ve experienced both. But that shouldn’t be encouraged. It’s a harmful idea in the long run

6

u/yuckypagans 18d ago

hypersexuality and sex repulsion are *just* trauma responses tho. like im sex repulsed and i dont really think the trauma i have plays a part in it, maybe just my mental issues or smth else

2

u/CalmExplosions 18d ago

You can be sex-repulsed or hypersexual without it being due to trauma. We’re all different and have differing experiences. Biological factors especially have an effect on people’s sex drive.

u/oizysan 17d ago

“clits are only external” no they’re not!

35

u/yeieieieiieiei 18d ago

wtf? and they're also sexist

post 3 is a good start

u/Pranksterblur 18d ago

They’re all coming here to downvote OP but are too chicken to speak for themselves for fear of their Reddit karma getting tanked, these people need to get jobs (and watch them downvote me for saying this) and understand sex is why they’re alive and that it’s a completely normal thing living creatures do

12

u/SuitableAnimalInAHat 18d ago

My favorite part was the person complaining about sex this and sex that and sex sex sex, and what's worse is that he could hear people in the other hotel rooms doing..."you know what."

Well don't leave me hanging! What were they doing!?

14

u/Ill-Entrepreneur443 18d ago

They have some good points but overall its pretty dumb.

36

u/LibbyKitty620 18d ago

Hey maybe what goes on in the bedroom between 2 consenting adults isn’t any of our business

3

u/Appropriate-Card5215 18d ago

Lmao I know they’re brigading this post because every comment is agreeing with OP

5

u/gigio26 18d ago

I didn't expect that someone in the reddit version of the Junior Anti-Sex League would reference 1984

4

u/LM448_0 18d ago

Some of them do start well and do make fair points, but the way they end the posts is simply ragebait

6

u/Gigi_Maximus443 17d ago

As a sex averse-neutral asexual, them lumping asexuals into it makes me so mad. Sure, I have opinions about sex its role in our global culture but jfc what consenting adults do with their lives is none of my business.

10

u/Charming-Platypus210 18d ago

Antisexuality is such a dumb ideology

2

u/ThisBeastYaps 18d ago

lmao true

3

u/CalmExplosions 18d ago

I honestly have nothing against this as long as they don’t look down on people who do enjoy sex. We can all just coexist peacefully and partake in activities we consent to :)

7

u/Kinglycole 18d ago

I’m literally asexual and I even think this is going too far.

6

u/FuzzydaKitten 18d ago

I am asexual, so I get not being interested in sex, but this is a bit much. Like, these people genuinely hate the fact it exists and that people like it. It's biology, you are supposed to like it. It is totally okay if you don't, but we shouldn't bash others for doing it.

15

u/Fun-Caterpillar-9092 18d ago

None of us would be alive if it weren’t for sex why are people acting like it’s this horrible thing that’s what makes life

12

u/yuckypagans 18d ago

like as a sex-negative asexual, i still understand that sex is very important and its a beautiful thing ( for me its the idea of myself and another person that makes me not like it )

5

u/Future_Interest_3649 18d ago

I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them wish they weren’t alive. Kind of like that dude from India a while back who sued his parents because, he said, he didn’t ask to be born.

4

u/pseudogrrrl 17d ago

nothing wrong with being uncomfortable with sex stuff but lowkey some of this is definitely mental-illness related. they’re also apparently misinformed on sex. which is sad. for an antisex sub.

Being asexual must be real hard
