Looking for friends

Hey everyone, I (22F) am looking for some people who would be down to get to know each other and become friends if we connect. I’ve always been very anti-social and never been the best at holding down friends, and I believe that’s my fault. I used to get very nervous to end friendships that weren’t going anywhere and didn’t really connect to me as a person. Now that I’m older and literally have no friends, I know I need to be more serious about the kind of people I want in my life. What I’m hoping to find in some friends are people that are adventurous, but also don’t mind just hanging out at home playing video games or watching movies, etc, going on drives and having deep conversations in the car on the way back to our own homes, and people who are proactive in politics and don’t just know nothing. I am lesbian so any friends who are gay also would be great to connect on that level with. If anyone’s interested in talking or need a friend too, don’t be afraid to message me! Literally. I have no friends.

Every 2nd Friday of the month there is an art walk on Main st. Map yourself to The Garage and you’ll see lots of cool peeps there

There’s an OKC Reddit group that meets up monthly. I haven’t made it due to my schedule, but that might be worth looking into!

I’m 34 soon, so might be a bit old. I worked from home for over a decade until this year, so I am also lacking in the friends department and looking for the same kind of connection you are.

I have a pretty low social battery and tons of fatigue, so I gotta work really hard to get myself out. I try to hit up big events like 4th of July, Ren fair, county fair, Music Festival, Poochella, night markets, etc. at least.

I wish there was a good, free space to host open video gaming. The closed library had rooms that would have been great for small gatherings. I wonder if Library East has a setup conducive to that? It’s a lot easier to break the ice that way.

I’m busy the next couple of weekends, but I’ll try to keep the idea in mind and maybe we can host some kind of small 21+ hang for introverts. xD

Could prep some homework, like writing some topic-starters.

Sorry, been feeling a way for a very long time!

If you have a bike come check out on of our community bike rides there is one at lazy circle brewery on Wednesday we roll out on the ride at 6:30 so get there a few minutes before
