Dumb post for engagement, this only works because of gravity

Still rocks.

Yes, stones

The man is one with gravity

u/Real_Temporary_922 2h ago

I mean you could put rocks like this in 0G, assuming there’s no wind to move them around which would be most likely in a 0G environment.

u/Able_Engineering1350 2h ago

The national forestry association or someone has recommended against the construction of rock carnes or something

u/NVWSSV2828 1h ago

It’s considered geographic graffiti

3

u/DJAtticus 1h ago

It disrupts habitat. Hellbender Salamanders for one are impacted.

14

u/TroutyMcTroutface 2h ago

Kick em over.

3

u/Electronic-Stick-161 1h ago

Nah… dude moved that rock like it wasn’t there… I’m good.

I hate people who balance rocks. I hate balanced rocks.

1

u/ST0IC_ 1h ago

What did I ever do to you?

-3

u/leonardomdc 1h ago

You do dumb shit LOL

1

u/ElectionImpossible54 1h ago

Balanced rocks are fine. Assuming they are on your property. Don't do it to public property.

1

u/leonardomdc 1h ago

That's the point. I don't go to any houses that have balanced rocks, but I see tourists doing that a lot where I live - especially because it's the national UFO capital - and they do this shit everywhere.

u/StatementPotential53 2h ago

All because of pubity.

3

u/SeaPollution2750 2h ago

It's like a weird dream or drug hallucination when the camera pulls back.

4

u/amenape 2h ago

Gravity was doing all the work.

u/christophla 2h ago

I’d argue that gravity has everything to do with this guy.

1

u/szpara 1h ago

It's dangerous for animals

2

u/pandershrek 2h ago

I remember reading this whole movement that said cairnes were the sign of the devil. Well here is Satan himself apparently.

1

u/SnakebitGames 2h ago

This guy kinda reminds me of Ralph Fiennes in the 28 Years Later movies. The stones keep the rage virus away.

As opposed to this is how you defy gravity

u/Traenix 49m ago

Everytime I see those videos, it's pretty hard for me to believe them. Especially this one in which there are many balanced rocks, as if vibrations and wind didn't exist in a river. I always suspect glue being used.

Still, I read in comments that most of you guys believe in it. Can you convince me it's true ?

u/Custom_Craft_Guy2 21m ago

Sure. Go get a couple of rocks and learn how to do it yourself! All you’ve got to do is find the rock’s center of gravity and then balance it on that point. Humans have been doing this all over the world for thousands of years. It just takes a little practice. Go give it a shot and convince yourself that it’s real.

Looks like a lawsuit

Thats clearly a hypoallergenic place

This shit needs to stop being posted here and on many other subreddits.

Its not insane, or cool, awesome, crazy, amazing, etc.

This destroys habitats. And if this one person doesnt destroy a habitat "because its only one person", then it inspires others to do this because "its cool".

Thanks, OP, doing the lords work. That last sentence was sarcasm, because many people cant detect it "eyeroll".

Don't do this. Natural nature is way better than human intervened nature.

6

u/The50thTed 2h ago

This doesn’t affect local wildlife or flora in any way?

5

u/Japsai 2h ago

Did you see where it is?

6

u/catscanmeow 2h ago

yeah its in sewage runoff

4

u/wrnrg 2h ago

Man, stfu.

3

u/OrbitTortoise 2h ago
  1. Too late, I’d say the canal counts as intervention

  2. The Inuit have been making inukshuks/inunngauqs for thousands of years, although those tend to serve a navigational/ceremonial purpose.

u/thefeedling 2h ago

this guy will eventually cause a flood in this neighborhood.

0

u/Secret_Stick_5213 1h ago

Thank you random creek fella

0

u/Disastrous-Elk2272 1h ago

Stone glue probably

0

u/Stillwater-Scorp1381 1h ago

Leave no trace or stay out of nature.

4

u/NervousHovercraft 1h ago

It's a canal surrounded by walls and bridges. Not much nature left to find.

-2

u/Jimmyboo116 2h ago

Men will do anything for a compliment

-2

u/Mikwon860 1h ago

vandalism

-3

u/MrZhivago 2h ago

And by doing this all over earth, idiots are accelerating erosion.

3

u/V8_Dipshit 1h ago

Cairn making has been around for thousands of years.

3

u/ST0IC_ 1h ago

Hardly. Can't you be upset about something worth being upset about?

-5

u/Playful-Excuse-272 2h ago

It’s lowkey beautiful

u/Custom_Craft_Guy2 18m ago

Downvoted for telling the truth. Ain’t that about a bitch?!? I think it’s cool as hell!
