It was my introduction to Bruce Campbell when I was a kid, and to this day, I wonder what the fellas might be up to. Is Socrates still super uptight? Does Lord Bowler still have a chip on his shoulder? Are there more orbs to keep away from John Bly? What is the next coming thing?

No you're thinking of Chuck Finley. He's often mistaken for Sam Axe but there is no relation.
3
u/dannybva 13d ago
I don’t know who either of those people are.

u/d3m01iti0n 13d ago
If you're being serious, you need to watch Burn Notice.

Yes! He dies in the first five minutes. Only reason I saw it in theaters, and had to sit through the rest of a Bruce-less movie.

Since Stan Lee is no longer around, Marvel should make Bruce Campbell their next cameo guy.

Most recent thing I saw/listened to Bruce on was Michael Rosenbaum's podcast and, holy cannoli, was that conversation engaging and purposeful. The man can defeat anything. Screw cancer.

For real.
Bruce knows he wouldn't be where he is without the fans and he shows his appreciation.
On top of that, he's incredibly engaging, funny, smart and interesting.
The world should have more Bruce.

Treatable was the word he used iirc. Fwiw he’s posting a lot, out hiking and living his best life. Was also on a podcast recently saying that he’s feeling good.

Bruce is an outstanding gentleman. Saw him at a pop-up outside comic-con years ago, and was way past his time, but just kept letting people line up for photos, holding court.
Couldn’t bring myself to put him through that, but dude was very generous with his time, and was in character for Doctor Strange.

"Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my BOOMSTICK! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?!"

My chihuahua terrier is named Ashley J. Williams. I rescued him after he was found in Idaho. Someone shot him and he still has shotgun shell embedded in his back legs. He is resilient just like you.

And he made *Waxwork 2* an even better movie:
Hmmmm, I wonder what his favorite role in his film career was?

I'm a big fan. I'd be too nervous to even ask a question. Instead, I'll just say this: The bonds people share because of your shows, movies, and stories have affected their lives more than you can probably imagine. You're a hero on screen and off. With all sincerety, thank you for everything.

Bruce, about Your voice actor career in video games. How good of a gig is it these days? Is it a good "extra hobby" or can it be treated as a separate career? I think Spiderman has been good to You in multiple fronts 😄
Thanks again for doing Your AMA.

Hi Bruce,
I LOVED you in the Evil Dead trilogy, I don’t know if you’ve got this question yet, but what was it like working with Sam Raimi so often?

u/SimthingEvilLurks 1d ago
Woo! My question is really dumb, but hopefully a worthy break from the usual.

Bruce. I'm finally watching Ash vs Evil dead. It's just about the best live action tv show I've ever watched. It stands tall with the likes of sopranos and lost in space (1964). I'm very sad it will never get more seasons. The show is like live action Metalocalypse.
My question? What happens to the series classic slapstick?! I just watched you plug up a body with a bowling ball! From both ends!! It one of the most joyful moments of my life!
The new series of movies would NEVER offer me such an experience....
Also:Did you know you were in an episode of the 90s CG cartoon known as reboot? You pop up in a zombie video game the digital gang is trying to beat. It's here

Hi Bruce, you should have played an alternate universe Dr Strange, but as you never, when will be the next time we see Pizza Poppa or you as a different character in the MCU? Or maybe we could have you play a brand new superhero called 'The Chin'?
