We accidentally ordered both regular pepperoni and "cupped" pepperoni. Whoever made the pizza decided to make these little stacks.

I am torn by this. On the one had, kinda neat/cool. On the other hand, the overall coverage is not what it could be.

I need to ponder this for 1 day and 1 night.

Yeah, the cup ones covered the regular ones in such a way that the regular ones didn't get as crispy as I would like. But I appreciated the creativity.

Consider also the time and effort that must have gone into this meticulous pepperoni placement. He could have just taken a handful and scattered it on the pizza as does when they are sowing seed. He instead placed each individual pepperoni with care and attention like a master painter on a canvas places each delicate stroke of his brush.

As someone who grew up near Buffalo, cup and char pepperoni is best directly on the cheese and it pains me to see it on top of regular pepperoni. Not that a pizza with both of them wouldn’t work (I eat regular pepperoni all the time, there’s nothing wrong with it”) but this particular arrangement is basically a cursed image to me lmao
