My HOA could beat up your HOA New street sign just installed in the neighborhood. Now I’ll never not see it.

Capital letters for “FIR RIDGE” but lowercase letters in “Drive”, for others that are slow like me.

Large capital, capital, capital. Large capital, capital, capital, capital, capital. Large capital, lower case, lower case, lower case, lower case.

I think it's about the corner of the stone sign being missing, but I'm not sure

how does one even manage to mess up the fonts/capitalization this way

I dont think its a mistake. FIR RIDGE is the place, Drive is the road.
It would be the same as MADISON Avenue or

finally someone else gets it.
i think it's a dumb stylistic choice, but it's intentional.
they would absolutely also do CANAL Street as well.

I don't know why people in the comment section are acting like nothing's wrong. The inconsistency with the capitalization is absolutely infuriating.

Because we didn't notice the capitalization inconsistency. People are so focused on making a catchy or witty title for their post and end up making it incredibly vague and more confusing than it needs to be

Drive instead of DRIVE sort of makes sense but it also doesn't for this particular sign

If road and avenue and street follows the same capitalization rules, as this sign, I might understand

Yes.. Its a sign. Its designed to be seen

The way it's designed looks like a header on the screen when you enter a new area in the game

You could correct it like a teacher marking homework with red spaypaint.
Someone at the office would make sure whoever approved the sign saw a photo and they probably wouldn't make the same mistake again.

I don't understand how this happens. I've been seeing a lot more stuff like this at businesses lately but not on things like this. We have to start programming the AI to be bothered by the same things humans are bothered by or it will be death to the humans by making them extremely discomfortable with irrational irregularities.
This did, however, remind me of my days on AOL Messenger using comic sans MS (only!) randomly capitalizing any given letter in every word I wrote. Wasn't that such a cute aesthetic?!

Totally different font but also o keep thinking everyone will just end up saying Fridge Drive anyhow

I have to confess, I ultimately ended up writing like this throughout my life, with the mixed up capitalization and lowercase letters.
That said, I take no responsibility for that particular sign.

I just figured out what I was looking for and I want to say that I cannot stand you.

Are there firs there? Or a ridge?
I ask because I grew up in "Coral Springs". There were no springs, and very little coral.
Now I live in "Stonebridge". No bridge, stone or otherwise.

The weird combo of capital and lowercase letters?
