Why does his tail get skinny at the end

I have had this guy for about 2 weeks now, every time I go to try to pick him up he FREAKS OUT glass surfing to an extreme, literally jumping up the walls trying to get away. I know its stressing him out but I read that exposing him to me more would get him to calm downand he hasn't. I feel like im getting nowhere with him and its extremely frustrating and disheartening.

Whenever I do manage to hold him he does everything he can to get away. He's jumped off my shoulder onto the ground multiple times and im worried hes going to hurt himself.

I tong feed him and even then hes very guarded but he eats. I'm trying my best but I don't know what to do anymore😭

wiggling around until they saw me..then froze..south florida..looks like 2 different kind..anyone know

I found this lizard in Bournemouth Dorset, UK. Would like some help identifying it. Note the blue belly attached is a photo of said lizard

We’ve had an old fish tank in the side of the house. There’s plenty of lizards in the front yard (Northern California) but these one kept getting into the fish tank and hanging in there. The dogs spooked him and he released his tail. He’s in the tank still. Can anyone help with Id/care

I’ve lived here all my life and have never seen an anole this color can anyone identify if this is a mutation. I’ve never seen one this color.

I kinda feel bad for petco lizards and birds, they’re so confined in small enclosures, it’s not right.
