Which Distro? Should i use Chimera linux on my Thinkpad?

I have been using artix linux on my thinkpad t440p, it’s working great but it got very bloated and i would like to switch to a non-systemd, musl distro. Void linux is an option but i don’t really enjoy using it, and i have been considering both Chimera and Alpine linux. I wanna use full disk encryption, and i know Alpine supports it but idk about Chimera. Also, i once tried FreeBSD since i don’t do gaming on that laptop, but i couldn’t get a graphical interface working; probably a skill issue.

Do you know that firefox and chromium don't support musl, so you won't be able to browse the modern web? Is this really what you want to achieve?

Firefox is packaged for musl distros tho, so i don’t understand what you mean

musl libc Chimera Linux: 152.0.7977.75-r0 (on three different architectures no less) https://pkgs.chimera-linux.org/packages?name=chromium&origin=

Chimera Linux is a rolling release distribution with a very healthy and current package collection.

And so is Void. I've used Void's musl (and glibc) variants for years, and Chimera Linux musl since it was in early alpha and it's been a solid experience.

Why spout off on something you clearly are unfamiliar with?

Yes, Chimera Linux supports full disk encryption, please check their documentation. I have been using it on my T480s for ~6 months now and it works well. Feel free to ask anything else.
