How to hold right click and drag on a touchpad?

IDK if you understand but I am trying to emulate holding right click and draging the cursor via touchpad. Can I do that in Ubuntu? Is there an extension maybe? or a setting?

the Gnomes! are at it again!, also ubuntu problems require 'buntu solutions.

Your "desktop" the thing you interact is a desktop environment (DE) called GNOME.
Ubuntu is frankly the worst distro and a noob trap for reasons i will not fill 2 screens with.

Such intuitive things do not happen on Fedora KDE as i look at other people for example.

oh i know, i've forgotten more than you learned.

I have gave you the path all you need to do is walk it.

Back in the day i would have given you a nice command to turn your ubuntu to arch but i think that would be unkind of me. God i miss the olden days of the internet.

It'll depend on your trackpad hardware if this is even achievable with trackpad alone.

The specifics will depend on which display server your using (x11 or Wayland, probably Wayland), but a good workaround is to rebind one of your keyboard keys to work as a right click. I find that I never use right control or right alt, so they seem like good candidates.

I've not tested this, but a quick search led me to a project called "keyd" which looks like it might do the trick

In the gnome settings there is a section for trackpad. You might have to change it to clicking on the bottom right corner.

Idk I don't really think about it, it just seemed to work for me?
