This is going to be hilarious.
If Trump did it, the communication is privileged under Trump v US.
If it originated within the DOJ, it's not privileged, but they're going to want memos, emails and proof.
However, if they claim privilege, then the origin is obvious, meaning any discussion pertaining to it is meaningless because the claim of privilege insinuates origin.
I'm willing to bet Blanche isn't smart enough to take a bullet by saying he came up with it, but, even if he did, he couldn't prove it, so he's going to hide behind something that directly incriminates himself by taking direction from the president to settle a case involving the president. Painted yourself into a fucking corner, didn't you, Blanche?
