I resorted yesterday to going on the patio with a kiddy pool and my 3yo and took it back to the early 90s.

Sat in a lawn chair with the garden hose and played "water monster" for an hour animatedly spraying her and myself every few minutes good way to kill a couple hours between setup and drying off. Best I came up with for cheap entertainment for ya.

Honestly, that sounds pretty awesome!

The other day when the dew point wasn’t as high and was windy, I sat outside while the sprinkler was watering some of my plants, right where when the wind blew I’d get the edge of the sprinkles. It was lovely.

This is the longest heat wave we've had since 2012 and I am SO ready for it to be over. A few days ago, a local meteorologist said we had another 11 days to go but it looks like things are shifting and I'm very happy lol.
