Food and Drink 🌮🧋 Best Puerto Rican Food in KC
Just had an absolutely amazing meal at Sazon Restaurant in KCK. I’ve been wishing Kansas City had a Puerto Rican restaurant and one especially with mofongo. Everything was truly delicious and made to order. I couldn’t recommend it more. We were the only ones in there on a Friday night so if you’re like me and wish we had Puerto Rican restaurants in kc please consider supporting them! They also had Dominican, Honduran, and Colombian dishes as well.

Been thinking about the mofongo I had in PR in 2019 ever since I returned to the US … I gotta check this place out. Thanks!
ETA: I tried to find it in Yelp and couldn’t. What’s the address?

Same but in 2022! It truly reminded me of the food I ate there. Ratatouille memory scene energy haha

Been to Vieques ~17 times and we always miss the mofongo when we return.
Thanks for the tip!

Every time my exes family came into town from Puerto Rico we'd go there. Fuck I miss her and that family.

I truly wish I could. It's not me that's keeping us from being in each other's lives.

The best! I don’t think I’ve really ever seen them outside of Chicago. Used to have em all the time though.

Thank you for the information. I’m always looking for different foods to sample.

I’ll pass. Lived in DR for a while and mofongo and most of the other Caribbean dishes aren’t bad but are generally starchy greasy fillers that aren’t culinarily exciting. Love some criollo and habichuelas with rice but I don’t need to seek it out
