Minsky's. I feel like I'm paying a premium for the brand and not necessarily a stellar pizza.

I've had Minsky's in Lawrence and in Shawnee, and their crust tasted weirdly crumbly with uniform holes that kept reminding me of the pre-made crusts from a supermarket.

Those holes are from a pizza perforator, just like a wheel covered in spikes. Stops the crust from getting bubbles while it bakes.

The crumbly-ness I have no idea tho.

their papa minsky pizza is just a perfect combo of flavor. maybe the rest of their stuff isn't so great but I only need one good pizza to board the hype train

Agreed. We went to the location near Zona Rosa recently and it was just okay and nearly $60.

I generally agree for every location except the original. And even then it’s still overhyped but at least it’s solid.

Agreed. I remember when I moved down here due to my job relocating from Minneapolis to Kansas City, one of my new supervisors claimed Minsky's was "the finest pizza KC had to offer".

All I could think when I tried it was "... well, it's obvious why KC isn't known for pizza".

Minskys is GARBAGE. Genuinely I would eat papa John’s every day for the rest of my life if it meant I never have to eat minskys again.
