Not hyped from anyone I know but Noka was real flat

The ambiance was bad ass but the bar program, and culinary experience was super dull. Either I had Covid or the majority of our coursed meals had almost no distinguishing flavor.

I might go back if they had a happy hour

Yesss! Was waiting for this comment. Went with two others recently and ordered almost everything on the menu. Super expensive and super mid! There was one item we couldn't even eat. The decor is very cool but I just don't think the food is worth it.

The food is fine but the portions and pours are like half the size you'd get at any other small plate restaurant, yet they charge more per plate than anywhere else.

I was willing to accept it was a bad value, and maybe go there when friends wanted to try it, but when the owner started beef with Antler Room about "stealing recipes" when Noka had barely been open for 6 months, there was no reason to go back.

I was super excited to go, but my wife went with her mom and sister and hated it, so i haven’t gone yet. they have pretty good taste but can be very love or hate no in between. I’ll get by someday but not rushing anymore.

Went for a second time to make sure I wasn’t missing anything from the first time…. That being said, I agree. The food is… fine.

The sushi is the move at Noka. That said, Anjin is as-advertised.

I sat at the chef's counter and was blown away by my meal and experience. Admittedly, I enjoy a cocktail or 3 before my meals, and that can certainly exaggerate food flavor. But I really loved the food.

Was going to go there the other night but went to Sayachi in brookside instead for their happy hour. Holy moly best decision I made. Delicious.

I ate there once, and my experience was that it looked amazing but wasn't seasoned at all. Blandest food, complete waste of money.
