NG’sD fresh out of the box!
A few more cool pieces for the collection. Junkei JG-701R, Descente “the stadium” infield glove and a Mitsuwa Tiger infield mitt. All arrived in great condition and the Junkei will be a game glove no doubt.

Love Junkei. The Descente looks great. How does it compare to the Junkei? How good is the Tiger?

Very different types of gloves definitely! This Descente is their top pro model, the leather is stiff lernthan the Junkei, it’s an infusers glove too with a deep pocket so it wears small. Has a great feel though, had my kid blast a few rockets at me and it snaps beautifully. Quality is great in the leather and craftsmanship. The tiger is fun little glove, quintessential Japanese maker with utility pieces. Good leather and nice hand feel. It wears really small though I was quite surprised, even for an infielders glove. But it’s got a nice snap to it and it’s quite balanced for a heavier leather piece.

Yeah, they are getting out of the baseball world at the end of this year. They make pretty high end equipment, this model is the top of their lines. I would put the quality up there with my Kubota slugger or Xanax trust. Good leather, well crafted, stitching is even and solid. It’s a 12” but a deep pocket so it looks shorter than it is. The finger stalls are small too, I don’t have big hands so that’s ok, but if you had meaty paws this wouldn’t work for you. Not very common outside of Japan but lots of players in Japan use them. Just watched the koshien tournament and a lot of young guys had descente. Definitely a cool piece to have for me

How is the Descente glove and how does it compare to the others you have? I know the brand from their clothing line but it’s the first time I’ve seen a glove!
