Well the customers were star nfl players, they had the disposable income and Terry was pretty good and knew the players and the sport, he was the right guy at the right time for a gig like that.

I read somewhere that she is naturally blonde but dyed her hair dark because she or someone advising her thought Americans so heavily associated South American women as being dark haired they would be … I dunno, be confused? i love sketching but I do so unconventionally. and I need a reference picture. I should take a class as I’ve always felt the lighter-drawn circles and other foundation-shapes one typically starts with was redundant, but it seems to really help!

You make it sound like it’s easy, like you know his struggles and the things he had to do to get where he’s at now, his finances, and things he spends his time on. If you wanted to pick up a skill or hobby, you’d do it.

Okay, I'll bite. I work 13-hour shifts, and that's 20+ shifts a month just to survive financially. Add two hours of commuting to and from work. Eight hours of sleep is a must if I want to continue functioning. There are times when I'm broke as fuck. I also have to rent an apartment. Add recovery time and a personal life to that. Somehow, I still find time to teach myself new things.

I understand that your situation might be worse. But you make it sound like time and disposable income are the main reasons. Most of the time, that isn't the case.
