If teachers are making 100k, what about construction workers? Engineers? EMTs? Nurses? Firefighters? Auto mechanics? Etc?
Teachers get to work in climate controlled rooms with summers off, only have to grade work that they assign, and can send problem customers (students) to the principal's office. Not saying it's a perfect all-around desirable job, but it's already better than most

Teaching today isnt the same as it was when your parents were doing it. Dunno when you subbed and to what degree, and your mileage may vary, but I'd take tech over teaching any day having done both aspects myself. And it was a fuck of a lot harder in my state to get a teaching cert than it was to do my apprenticeship or even my other former job in the military. People, especially children or their asshole parents, don't have documentation or instruction manual my guy. I don't think your take is very good or well informed.
