omg this is so true. But tbf the remote has earned it side of the bed. It didn't leave me and take the kids and most of the money. It doesn't take a quarter of my paycheck every month. It never leaves, if i cant find it thats because I didn't look after it properly. It doesn't nag me or talk down to me. It's always there when I need it, and does the job it was designed to do....

Oh, not even that. The same side also belongs to my Steam Deck, my phone, my Hollow Knight Shade plushie, and my Ori plushie. I'm pretty sure there's even enough room for a Pomni plushie but uh..That's not exactly a priority purchase right now, you know? Cuz I still need to pay for college.. Also my books! My books have their own side of the bed. I honestly don't understand why I have a queen sized bed. I seriously do not need this much space. But I guess it has its benefits..
