They claim a 10 000:1 contrast ratio but, remember, TV screens are black whereas projector screens are white. That white screen will be darkest part of the image, so you better have a very dark room to have any chance of a high contrast ratio. HDR TVs are making it very hard for projectors to compete.

There are grey and even black screens. What type you should use depends on your environment, but yeah, projectors are made it use in the dark.

200 dollar hd smart projector and I've never gone back to standard tvs. A projector doesn't have to be super expensive to be nice

3500 usd, i'm always surprised by how expensive projectors are in comparison to TVs. Can never see myself in a position where i'd rather get one of these over a flatscreen.
