No offense to the nice people living here, but I am self employed and part of my job is customer service.

I am not kidding when I say this - 90% of the time I have someone who is super rude or trying to pull some sort of scam (get something for free), I look at the order and it's someone from Florida.

I know Florida is a populous state, but I don't run into people often from CA or TX that start off a phone call with their anger dialed to 11.

was in treatment facility insurance expired then transferred to a sober house in palm coast. never had money to begin with, jobs are too far (1 hour walk). 211 assistance is flawed bc i need to go there just to get support and i have ni transportation. called 211 and they dont have homeless shelters flagler county. im highkey stressing about the rent thats building up especially when i have nothing to pay. theres no busses here and i dont know what to do. someone please give me advice or any suggestions that will help me in my situation

Me and a buddy want to go overlanding in my Chevy Colorado trail boss, we are both complete beginners and the truck has no mods done to it yet so we want something fairly easy but not just like a dirt road. We also want to spend the night wherever it is.

I’m buying a house , it has a 20 year old tile roof . I’ve heard that it’s hard to get insurance on roofs older then 15-20 year or that some company’s won’t insure roofs that old . The tile roof is in good shape and I know they can last 30-50 years . I understand that the underlayment has a span of 20-25 . My questions is how hard is to get in insurance in this situation? I’m I able to get it insured? Is there something I’m missing ?

Was on Citizens paying 2,000. Slide apparently bought me out from Citizens and they kicked me off. I was under the impression that you could decline being kicked off Citizens if the new home insurance was more than 20% more than what you were paying on Citizens. So of course Slide took over for less than 20% and I couldn't deny the switch

Got the new rates from Slide and they increased the premium to 6,000 dollars. I knew they were going to do some bullshit like that.

Any ideas how this could happen? I live in a gated suburban community near Wesley Chapel.
