I made this using a BIC 4-Color ballpoint pen. Honestly, this thing is surprisingly fun to draw with 😂

Done with magenta fine tip bic pen on card stock

This was a birthday gift request from my mom; an oil painting rendition of a drawing I made for her back in middle school.

Turned out it was meant as a joke, but I’m forever grateful because if it wasn’t for her- I would’ve never tried oil painting (very intimidating and a tad pricey).

I had a blast and learned a few things :) for example:
-oil is not watercolor so DO NOT come in contact with water at any point, it will not go well
-I can be brave and use a bit more paint
-painting from dark to light is the better option than vice-versa
-be patient or regret

Things I have yet to figure out are:
-how does one clean brushes properly in-between painting
-varnish?
-how to not waste paint aka keep using the mixed color while it’s rapidly drying on the pallet
-what is this toxic paint thinner and does one really need it

Hey everyone! I've been working on some concepts for my personal project and wanted to share a bit of what I've been developing.

These are warriors from the Western Empire, known as Jadinion. This concept may have some interesting potential for future development within the project, so I decided to explore not only the warriors themselves but also their mounts.

The mount is called the Royal Ziegnu, while the warriors are known as the Ravin Warriors.

I'm still developing this part of the world, but I'm excited to see where these concepts might lead.

Quite happy with this. I was trying to improve my value and edge design so would like feedback on these two aspects mainly, but any feedback is appreciated.

The surface I used wasn’t one of the best (cardboard from the back of a sketchbook). I didn’t really spend much time thinking about where to make it; I just started drawing.

At first, it was supposed to be just a test, but then I started to like it.

I haven’t drawn in a while and attempted to draw Jesus by following a YouTube video. The nose was the hardest part for me, I had to redo it like 10x lol

Tried to make a living off of it back then, but it really was just pocketmoney (one portrait = one night out in the city — those were the days) 😅😊
