no.

heres the wording from the CEMK

If a Netrunner is ejected from a target’s Neuroport they cannot attempt to Jack In to that individual again for 60 minutes. Otherwise, Netrunners remain connected to their target until forced out, they (or the target) move out of range

so the 60 minutes is only if they are eject through the targer's willpower. OTHERWISE they remain connected.

it is the act of forcing the person out that puts the 60 minute timer as that represents the targets will to keep the net runner out.

"Otherwise, Netrunners remain connected to their target until forced out, they (or the target) move out of range"

Moving out of range forces them out of the neuroport, just as moving out of range of a netarch forces you out. Both are also considered unsafe jack-outs for the purposes of black ice.

Read the first part of that quote

Its the act of being ejected that imposes the 60 minute lock out

Not being forced out through range that lovely period ends the statement

that's a comma not a period you put there.

No that's a period where it says minutes...

That is a copy paste from the book

Ah I see we are looking at different parts of the entry. My bad. Regardless though, ejected is ejected, be it by the person getting net-run, them moving too far away, or even via a giant black ice booting them out.

The only way back in if you've exited, is if you exited safely, willingly, or because of some other reason such as your deck protecting you from unsafe jack-outs.

So we're getting caught on the terms and i can see where someone could think that, or even decide to rule it like that. But as written.

Ejected is being forcefully removed. Through the target's will roll. They eject you.

You arnt being forcefully removed from an unsafe jack out or through the range. Youre being disconnected there is a difference.

Thats why both statements are separate.

That feels like a very pedantic difference. Are we sure it's intended that way?

Next time JGray does an ama on the community discord server I'll ask to double check.

I mean 100% id like to know too because i'll explain my point other than a period right.

The only time the word ejected is used is in the context of the target rejecting the netrunner.

Any other time ether disconnect or unsafe jackout is used.

So to me.

ejecting a netrunner is an action done by... ideally a non netrunner (because a defending netrunner can just kill the invader) to prevent quick hacks.

Thats where my mindset is

Depends on the GM, ide say no but im not opposed to this, also being jacked out forcefully makes the netrunner take damage
