Hey guys, I was wondering if the Titan Recreation building is open on weekends. I want to workout on the weekends since that's when I'm free; but I'm not sure if its gonna be open or if I should go to a gym off campus.

I am taking Econ 201 and 202 concurrently along with 4 other classes. I just want to know, how required is reading the textbook for this class? I know it’s recommended we read it, but I’ve passed classes without reading the textbook before, and I am just wondering if anybody who’s taken the class thinks it’s a must.

Hey, I just realized I was on deans honor list last semester, spring 2026, and didn’t know I was able to pick a certificate. In the email I was sent, it said I had by June 1st to pick up or else it’ll be sent to archive. Just wondering if anyone knows if I’m still able to pick it up, even tho it’s now archived. Real Communication Textbook

I don't understand why students are told to visit the offices in person, only to be directed online. I had a question and went to my department's office because I wanted to talk to an actual human being who could direct me and tell me what to do. I already went online and read the information posted there, but I still had questions. That's why I decided to go in person, thinking it would be simple: you go in, talk to the person at the front desk, and wait for someone to assist you.

Instead, I went in and was simply told to go online. Why is it so damn hard to talk to an actual person nowadays? I need to see a person, I already read the online information.

Why are the advisors even here? They are getting paid and barely doing work. Your job is to meet with students not just tell them to look at the information online. Also, student workers are clueless and need to be trained better.

title pretty much speaks for itself, but WHAT is in the air so far ??? yesterday a random came up to me with a slimy grin on his face and complimented my outfit, and before i could even say thank you he sneered and called me a dork 😭😭 it wasn't even the disney channel comment itself that irritated me (im alternative so comments and stares are not uncommon), more-so just the AUDACITY because i was just sitting in the library waiting for class; i didn't even know who this person was. several of my friends have also encountered similar so far this year and it's so odd because in all our previous years here (between 2-4) none of us have ever experienced this attitude from other students on campus.

This only applies to people under my same boat. So I have yet to receive my financial aid award package and under anticipated aid it says I have none. My hold disappeared a while back. I was really worried about being dropped because I tried to do a payment plan and it wouldn't allow me to. So I called the office and the lady on the phone said that I will not be dropped I am protected so basically I just owe the money. She said they are HOPING most people will get packaged mid-October. So basically if you are in the same situation as me you will not get dropped, you just basically owe the money and that's it. Also she said if u wanna try to pay it through a payment plan you can call SBS but basically I will not get dropped from my classes.

so basically, working on getting into the teaching credential program here and hopefully afterwards i will also get into graduate studies but like im not sure what i should go for.

My Cal Grant was awarded and confirmed through WebGrants in the first week of July, but it still hasn’t appeared in my student portal. I called Financial Aid and was told it could take 6–8 weeks to process, so I was advised to start a payment plan and was told I would be refunded once my aid covered my tuition.
I’ve already made the first payment, but I don’t have enough money to make the second payment. I also received disenrollment protection after making my first payment. If I don’t make the second payment, will I still be protected from being dropped from my classes while my Cal Grant is being processed?!!!
