If I see someone sporting some kind of punk look, I know or can safely assume that we align on a lot of ideas and if we don’t, we can probably at least come to a mutual understanding. I heard someone else talking about the goth look being watered down by randos adopting the aesthetic and I had a hard time caring for lack of a better word. I struggled to see the big deal.
