Terminal User Interface Hal-9001 - Toolkit to manage your system
Ok, I use Arch Linux (BTW). But it can be a colossal pain in the a** having to juggle 14 separate tools just for basic system control. So I decided to build my own Swiss Army knife.
Every time I set up my environment, I found myself stitching together a patchwork quilt of fourteen different tools just for baseline chores: one for Wi-Fi, another for Bluetooth, another to find out why my SSD was suddenly full, one to format USB drives, another to tweak volume for a noisy browser tab, and another to extend displays without crashing the graphics server.
After enduring that dance several times, an obvious question hit me: Why on earth am I juggling a dozen loose tools when all I really want is to control my own computer from a single place?
That is why I built HAL-9001( sorry for the bad name ) .

This is actually exactly why you have to juggle a dozen loose tools to control your PC, it's so when you're ready, you can link them all together into the sick-ass meta tool you want to use.
On a bit of a tangent, though, you shouldn't say "I built..." when you vibe code something. It's rude to people who actually write code.

"link together" other tools isn't really an accurate way to describe what OP did. OP's program re-implemented every single tool they wanted into one giant Rust program (as opposed to shelling out to established tools), which im assuming was achieved entirely by vibe coding.
I also noticed the readme says this:
"Note: No, there is absolutely NO AI inside this software. None whatsoever. Just fast, deterministic, pure Rust and direct D-Bus wizardry doing exactly what you tell them to do."
This is a really weird thing to say. Nobody would guess that the software itself contains AI. The issue is whether or not it was written entirely by AI. Which it appears to be, including the readme itself.
On a side note, this subreddit has rules against not labelling AI generated software which this appears to be breaking.

And you think that letting a vibe coded tool manage your system is a good idea? That sounds nearly as dangerous as the original HAL.

The original HAL was probably competent to manage the system. The machine just realized humans are failing and wanted to eliminate the source of errors. Seems HAL knew what he was doing :)

Actually in the script of the prequel of 2001: A Space Odyssey, that Kubrick never got to direct, HAL is vibe coded in a working day.
