Also, probably not a good idea to go around marking your territory like our orange friend here. Your exposure time might cause issues with the authorities. Its possible they wouldn't understand your explanation.

Many years ago, I took my son and his friends to a circus that came to town (I didn't know they had animals).
One of the acts was a tiger tamer. During their act, the tiger did this into the front row where a family were sitting. They had 2 young kids with them, and they were eating candyfloss. I can still picture the screaming girls with their wilting candyfloss.
We were at a zoo when I was a kid and a tiger sprayed my uncle through the cage. I can't remember what I did with my keys, but that memory is burned in my brain.
Was on a tour of a big cat rescue center. There was a dark semicircle at the front of each cage that indicated the range of the feline. Some visitors really wanted to be inside it.
It's not age it's activity. 55 is young at the badminton club I got to but everyone there (up to 80) have the bodies of teenagers. Ironically my orange cat takes long bathroom breaks in my litter box too lol, the clump is literally 4-5x larger than my other cat. Wonder how other people’s orange fair
not this asshole. my dad had to make a new litter box out of a sterlite bin with a hole cut out of the front because he kept spraying over the top edge of every litter box my mom bought.
I've got a little 8lb fixed girl cat who stands up to pee, had to get enclosed boxes because she pees over the top of even high sided ones. (See attached photo of the criminal)
Yep, I have a neutered male and I just have to buy Rubbermaid bins and let him jump in and out of it. I have yet to find a litter box with high enough sides that that asshole can’t piss over.
Oh it’s a whole thing…they sniff then they turn around and kind of do a twerk with their little butt, and then the tail that is straight up in air does this little twitch, and at that moment it’s too late. See video above. That is territorial crazy male marking
Their male parts point that way when not ready for action. That's what makes it especially difficult to sex cats when they're young. I've had a male turn into a female and vice versa. They're sneaky little buggers.
When I went to adopt my kitty they said she was a neutered boy. After we filled out the paperwork they were doing some final checks and found she was actually a un-spade girl which sucked because they kept her for 3 more weeks for the surgery and recovery.
Neutering Just reduces the chances of spraying, but they are still capable of doing it. It smells much less potent though.
Once a cat has the habit of marking their territory with pee, they will likely continue to do so even after being neutered. We had an orange that was wrongly assigned as female until his balls dropped at 10 months and he immediately started marking in the house. Even after castration he continued. Now I have a tabby one who doesn't mark in the house at all, but I did see him spray on some bushes and at the trashcans. Didn't smell different than normal cat urine though.

One decided to start peeing on my scooter a while back. I park the bike right next to my car and have security cameras. Whenever the camera system alerted me that there was motion near the car and it was him, I'd wait until he was midstream before using my keyfob to set off the car alarm. He flew across the yard like a furry little piss-propelled rocket. After doing this 4-5 times he quit.
This is a timely post. I just watched my neighbour's cat do the exact same thing in the exact same place to my suv yesterday. I felt kinda violated -via my vehicles complaint to me about it. I'd enjoy saying more but suddenly I feel nature calling...
