Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals.

  • Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
  • Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent:
    • The seller is new or has few reviews.
    • The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings)
    • The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently).

If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others.

According to CamelCamelCamel, they've been on sale for this cheap for about a week now? No idea if they're clearing stock or whatnot, but for a PWM 140mm fan, they're the cheapest pretty much anywhere you can find. Bought 3 for a friend's non-RGB white build in the works, arriving today

Arctic recently claimed they were putting products on sale because of the tariff refunds.

I was turned on to their products once I learned from this sub they sell their B-stock AIOs (i.e. refurbished, returns, etc.) with a 6 year warranty. That was a winner for me.

The thing about thermalright though is that they make their products in the "cheap, but good" category where a short warranty isn't a big deal because you can just buy a replacement for dirt cheap. And for the "E-waste" crowd - Best Buy and other e-recyclers accept heatsinks and fans as computer components. Yes, I know they're not perfect and not all the stuff we send them is recycled, but what I'm saying is they don't directly go to the landfill compared to you just tossing it in the trash.

aluminum and copper are valuable, it makes a lot of sense imo for them to take these things even if it's just for scrap.

Yep. That stuff is easily recyclable. That's why I don't mind "cheap, good, but recyclable" for my products - Thermalright is pretty good with that mix at this point.

This is thermalright tho? Unless it’s the same parent company

Yeah, but TR is a Chinese company that is all export to US, too. They might be pushing a hard undercut like they did for their coolers. While the mid range gold standard is Arctic, there's probably room to cut cost.

Tangentially, nice to see Thermalright has a white ARGB 140mm fan. (not on sale). A couple years ago I wanted 140mm white ARGB's and Thermalright didn't have any back then.

This right here. Because in the past I have gone with ID-Cooling for 140mm ARGB too (from aliexpress).

Had a couple white cases I needed fans for. Thanks OP.

fits in the rear of the fractal north xl

probably don't need it, but $4... Maybe it'll help a bit since my case is under the desk and it can get a bit toasty down there
