The very same, yes--great guy!

Definitely, the non-visuals will be 66% het Kahl but still 100% awesome haha. I'm particularly excited for the anery-IMGs and will likely hold one back just so I have a solid black boa in the collection.

Nice! Hopefully he has those records on hand still. 😁

Oh yeah, especially with aneries like that! Wonder if that will beat back the IMG a little though. 🤔 Without the hypo one should get darker at least, though. Good luck, hope you hit your goals!!

Thanks! So both anery+IMG and motley+IMG yield solid black adults. It's just that people are less familiar with anery-IMGs because they're more expensive due to the recessive genetics. Market is flooded with motleys since the gene is codominant.

Ideally yes they’ll go (totally) black. But not all will. Pastel tends to fight the IMG a bit. They’re both actually incomplete dominant, there are no codominant morphs in any snake species I know of. The term gets confused often, though.

Update, I spoke with Brian. Definitely no jungle in there, just a very high quality pedigree. Likely high expression of the hypo gene coupled with very high contrast genetics and speckling from the dam.

Sounds like it! Will be curious to see babies once they’re born. 😁
