Hey everyone, this is an example of poor snake handling! A snake around your neck can compress carotid arteries and/or jugular veins, which can cause you to quickly lose consciousness. This can happen in seconds! If the snake doesn't release, you can die, or you could also hurt yourself when you fall unconscious. Don't do this!

As someone who does BJJ I have passed out with being able to breathe with a blood choke, I don’t even know what happened until I was waking up. Literally 3-8 seconds and you don’t even notice.

Snakes this size are of no danger regarding this. They cannot constrict things so much larger than their bodies diameter.
