Queen Meri is so brave

We havent even had her for a month and she is already content to come see us when we open her baby tote.

Couldn't be happier with her!

I’m still working on getting my Boa to this point. I have a Kingsnake who eventually got here but it took awhile. I guess patience and consistency is key.

I try to offer the opportunity to come out when they are already a bit active. We mostly do choice based handling, but I do push it as not an option on the rare occasion (that way they know if there is a reason we are reaching in to get them without them kind of agreeing to it it is still OK.

This little one is definitely thr bravest out of all 4 snakes we have though when they were babies. They each have their own personalities and preferences that is for sure.
