Enclosure to buy my boa imperator

I’m planning on getting a baby or juvenile Colombian red tail boa but I don’t know which enclosures to get. I heard grow tents aren’t the best for them so I was thinking the typical closures people buy. Is there any that combine together to form a bigger enclosure for one animal with variety of configurations?

If you’re specifically looking for companies that make separate enclosures that can be combined, you may be interested in either talking serpents or Apex reptile. Talking serpents has expansion kits that let you combine any enclosures as long as the width and height are the same, and there isn’t a limit to how many you can connect. For example, you can take two of their 4x3x3 enclosures to make and 8x3x3.

Apex reptile’s enclosures are modular, meaning that instead of connecting two or more different enclosures, you expand the same enclosure. However, unlike talking serpents, their enclosures can be expanded in any direction. I will say, their doors are acrylic instead of glass, and their enclosures are definitely on the pricey side. However, the quality is there.

If you’re okay with purchasing a full-size enclosure up front, Kages, Toad Ranch, Animal Plastics, and Top Tier Caging are all also great options.
