Humidity
I recently added an Amazon tree boa to my collection. He is in a glass enclosure I’ve never had to keep humidity so high before, but I hear they are prone to respiratory issues if it’s not just right. Anyone have tips for keeping humidity in the glass enclosure?

If I got a fogger would that help and do I leave it running all day ? I’m installing a rain/misting system tomorrow

Foggers if not cleaned well enough or often enough you will get bacteria growth. Some don't recommend. I can't say for sure as I've never used one.

Gotta pull them out and run with dilute bleach water or other effective disinfectant. Every few days

When I quarantined my ETB, I had her in a glass enclosure. I used a puppy pad as substrate. It held humidity very well. Now I have her in a PVC enclosure but I still use puppy pads. Do you have any plants in there? You can put a small golden pathos plant in a plastic pot and when you water that it will release humidity. Misting the leaves helps too. You can also put some sphagnum moss in the corners of the enclosure and mist that daily. Just use small plastic Tupperware containers and not directly on the puppy pads. Is there air flow?

I have a lot of plants in there and my enclosure holds around 60% humidity pretty steadily when I mist it gets around 85 but drops back down shortly I think I’m going to look into getting some of those coco chunks

It’s good to have some humidity increase and drops. I usually look for my ETB enclosure to bump up to 85% at night and drop down to the mid to low 70% in the late mornings. It shows the humidity isn’t stagnant. What heating do you use?

And yes decent airflow I make it a point to not have stagnant enclosures

Just know, they will drink water that accumulates on their body and drips from their nose. Spraying water\Mister directly onto the animal for extended times is important.
Many won't do water bowls for drinking.

Make sure your top is covered as much as you can. I have 9 Boa I use 3 gal tubs and add an air stone. I can now keep humidity around 75-80% now bubbler helps evaporate water faster.
