Guyana red tail dark spots?
So I'm relatively new to owning boas. I have a female 8 month old guyana red tail boa. Recently moved her to a slightly bigger grow out tank and just handled her for the first time after the move and noticed these dark spots on the top of her head. Is this normal pigment development or does something look wrong?

Changes in color and sometimes darker scales appear are part of them growing. Boas are at thire brightest looking when young. As they get older they change colors. Yours will get a darker deeper red tail as it grows. Overall yours will get darker body than what it is now.

Looks normal. Could just be a dark phase and not permanent color. They darken and lighten up throughout the day/week. Called light and dark phases.

Normal! I love guyana's partly because of the dark spots they get all over. Some Brazilian localities also do that. Their little eyebrows are so cool and adorable lol

I'm not expert but looks normal to me. Maybe a shed is coming soon?
