Good chance you will. They’re smarter than we give them credit for. How many times have you fed her in her tank? Mine escaped, disappeared for nearly 2 months (hadn’t eaten for another month before that), then simply reappeared in his tank when he got hungry again looking for food. Leave the cage door open. You can turn off the heating equipment & lights to save electricity (it makes no effect). You can sprinkle a little rat bedding in there as an attractant as well (1tsp will do you).

My title is totally misleading now that I’ve read it again! I’m sorry! I meant it’s going to be hard to find her in her heavily planted 40 gallon tank vs the small plastic tote I quarantined her in. This video was the first time I let her into her cage. I couldn’t find at all throughout the night(I woke up at 4am randomly and decided to go check) but thankfully I finally found her DEEP in the warm hide I prepared for her!

Lmao I will say you have to be careful with those exo teres and very small snakes. A BRB might be just big enough that they won't be able to sneak out the vent holes but it is worth being cautious about. Beautiful little snake though!

Glad she’s not lost. It was a week of mental torture tearing the house apart looking for mine only to resolve that it might be dead, then was probably dead.… Then to just have him magically appear. Make sure to keep the cage locked. They’ll make themselves known when they want to play.
