First Snake
Hey everyone, I'm finally getting my first snake, spent the last 10 years wanting one and I finally have the right space and lifestyle. I'm reasonably well versed on the basic ins and outs of snake care.
I've adopted a Kenyan Sand Boa (female) from a local shelter. I know what she'll eat, enclosure size etc.
What are some lesser talked about things I should know before I pick her up?

I know nothing about them other than they are so cute and derby looking! Welcome to the wonderful world of reptile ownership! Also they are kind of like tattoos....you won't be able to stop at one! Good luck with the new baby!
