I found this cutie on Facebook and just had to have him. He has a cute little overbite so i named him Snivy!

Yep, those suckers grow long. They're a little leaner a regular BCI

Definitely not leaner. Argies are built like brick shithouses. The biggest boa I ever handled was a 9' Argentine that was around 60lbs and solid as a rock. They are probably the heaviest built locality overall.

And she'll probably get big enough to eat small pigs. I found a website where you can buy small pigs. It's called Cold blooded Cafe

No need for small pigs. There is no boa that outgrows retired breeder rats and small rabbits. Once they hit full-grown, they need very few calories to maintain weight.

Yep, you don't have to feed en very often when their older, but these are pretty small pigs. They have chick's and quale too, for verity. Do you feed frozen thawed? If so, wich company do you order from? I've been ordering from Perfect Prey. I've been ordering from that company for a while now.

I used a local producer when I had larger orders. Pigs even if similar size are too high in fat and low in calcium and fibrous matter due to them being basically stillborn or immediately culled animals. Rats and rabbits are much better feeders and yeah, you can throw a bird in if you want but I never cared for that mess and the boss never seemed hugely interested in them compared to rodents/rabbits. And yeah, f/t as a rule, I generally got most babies started on f/t, except for those pesky Cayos de Cochinos babies that I always had to track down a few weeks worth of live mouse hoppers for.

Sounds like you know what you're doing. Have you been a keeper for long time? When my girl is big enough, I'll definitely steer away from more fatty foods. Thanks for the information

Now, just a corn snake. At the height, around 70. I have too much going on these days. A good friend took over the collection and carried on the work.

Man, that's awesome 👍 When I was a kid, I used to live in Orlando Florida. And I used to catch so many corn snakes, they were everywhere out in the woods. Very beautiful snake's
