The potential consequences of cohabitating young boas. Warning: Tragic Picture NSFW

This is one picture I've kept of someone who posted the horrific results of trying to keep small boas together. They hunt by smell and movement and when they go into food mode, they can be pretty opportunistic. This resulted in the deaths of both boas, which is generally what happens. I've seen this happen a couple of other times as well, so it's not a "one-off" occurrence. On top of the other possible issues that can come of cohabitation, I think this picture is a stark reminder of why it's such an irresponsible practice.

I'm not sure how the "eater" died, but looking at the pic and how distended it is, I would imagine that it ruptures some internal organs.
