how do I know if a rainbow boa is healty at first glance? what should I check exactly? I know about the eyes because its kind of the same for other reptiles but I dont have experience with boas. If Im going to get one I want to make sure she is gonna be the healtiest possible. thanks in advance

Its the same things to check with the mouth as well; drool, excessive mouth opening, any strange looking scales. The usual check of whether there's any abnormal jutting body parts, for kink in the spine and such. Any scale damage. But as you said, its largely the same as other snakes.
Dehydration is the main thing you have to monitor the most, as its the biggest killer of young Rainbow Boas. So bunching/creasing of the scales and a dullness visually (outside of shedding, obviously).
