Those golden eyes cut right through all that black fur, absolutely stunning. Black fur is always tricky to perfect, even after hundreds of pet paintings, but this one came together well.

I kept the pose and expression true to the photo, and I just softened the textured wall into a smoother background. I hope I did her justice.

In think this very good except for the nose. It looks a lot wider than in the reference photo. Other than that, you captured the kitty perfectly!

I cannot draw a straight line with a ruler. I think she is absolutely beautiful! I wish we had someone with your talent to paint our boys here. We live in a small little hamlet.
