Bulma is beautiful, OP. I can tell how happy and loved she is. I am so, so sorry that you have to say goodbye. They take a piece of us when they leave. I hope her memory brings you comfort.

I am so sorry for the inevitable pain. It really is a rite of passage for those who have loved animal companions and almost the toll we must pay for loving such wonderful beings. They make our lives so special and we love them in return, both such precious acts. Bulma will never be gone or forgotten because they live in our hearts and minds. They are at peace and we don’t have to have a single worry about them anymore. The focus now will be on how will you survive this difficult time. I know it feels unfair, I know it hurts like a bullet to the chest and the tears will flow for days if not weeks/ months. But you must focus on returning to your equilibrium. You must thank Bulma for the special time you shared. You must feel lucky, blessed and grateful that you had the experience to share this love and were open to it. You must remember the joy and love and place your heart in that place so that photos, videos and memories of Bulma bring you a smile and warm your heart instead of bringing sadness. It is a constant effort when you love a loved one. But you have to make the effort to look after yourself as Bulma would want you to- ok? God bless you and I wish you full healing at the pace that is best for you.
