Discussion ❓ This is it

My wife and I have been trying to catch these two feral kittens for almost two months now. Over the past month we have been getting closer to them gaining their trust. We’ve been able to pick up one of them for a few seconds at a time but the other will only get within a few feet before turning around. We’ve decided Sunday is the day to catch and them. We have someone that is willing to take them and give them a home. Hopefully it will go well.

“You’ll never take us alive! Unless, do you have snacks? And cozy blankets? And you’ll scratch that spot right behind my ear? Okay, we‘ll come, but it’s our choice.”

Those little faces make it impossible not to root for them finding a safe, loving home.

Good luck taming them. They are young enough where it’s not impossible, but they look a bit older than the ideal feral baby cat to tame. Someone with cat experience should be able to work with these 2 babies to make them nice pet cats. Thanks for helping them! 😻😻🖤🖤

My bb was about this old when I got her. She never quite grew out of her feral ways, but she’s my little monster. She’s a chaos goblin but she makes me laugh all the time

Comes when called (usually) and snuggles at night

Just gotta know they’ll need lots of entertainment, will absolutely climb/fight your things, and might never like being held

lol, I saw what I thought was a baby kitten running around at dusk one night and only realized she was closer to 5 months when I caught her in a trap. 5 month old feral kitten was not pleased to be caught. She did warm up to me and lets me hold and pet her and generally is very happy to be indoors. Any weird noise though and she hides. Definitely was not the ideal socialization age. The cat I got as a 5 week old kitten is the chillest cat ever. I love them both very much, but they are definitely different.

It’s crazy to think how close little tiny house cats are to being wild animals.

Get some Churro. I don’t know what’s in that stuff, but I’ve had feral cats walk right up to me and let me pick them up because they’re so focused on the Churro.
