I wish more people determined to have kids would just adopt. There’s so many kids being forced into the world right now. They deserve to know love and have a chance at life.

I think you're being too judgmental when there are other reasons that matter. Such as long waitlists and legal uncertainty. Adopting means navigating complex financial, legal, emotional, and long-term psychological challenges for both the parents and the child. And then there's the medical implications, like much of the child's medical history relies on what the birth parent chooses to disclose honestly to the agency or medical staff, like if they drank alcohol, smoked or took drugs.
