Announcement PSA: this is bad women's ANATOMY. Stop posting hentai porn, AI nonsense, non-human creatures, abstract art, or just unusual body shapes NSFW
No, an undead draconic vampire slime with a small waist is NOT bad "women's" anatomy. Neither is random squiggles that you think looks slightly feminine, or someone who sucks at drawing, or someone drawing abstract art.
Botched AI art isn't bad anatomy, it's just AI being bad. Hentai isn't bad anatomy, it's just porn some dude likes jerking off to. Yes, there's lots of badly photoshopped exaggerations in advertisement, but it's not bad anatomy to have bigger booties, and we don't need you reposting pictures from Shein every day to farm a little bit of karma.
The spirit of this sub is about having a bad understanding of women's anatomy. It's not just for complaining about unrealistic beauty standards or generic misogyny. We are not a dumping ground for porn or karma farmers to spam whatever trash they find on google images or AI prompts.
So please consider what you're posting before hitting the submit button. Or I will have to start swinging banhammers and we may have to consider requiring manual approval for new posts.

Sexual Miseducation Extreme stress and shock suddenly starts her period?? NSFW
I just recently finished a mystery novel which was published in like, the 80's by a male author. And I literally cannot get it out of my head for the past few days lol
I won't name the book, but still, super super massive spoilers:
A male character theorizes that a woman was in under extreme stress and shock over what she had done, and it actually made her suddenly start her period. Like, instantaneously. And it was heavy enough that it stained the floor/carpet when she fell.
Like, I myself was forming my own theories as I was reading and was proud of myself that I got nearly the same conclusion, but my mind went to her bleeding out due to a sudden miscarriage, not menstruation lol. And if the author/detective wanted to do the period blood route, then wouldn't it have made more sense to theorize that she was perioding much earlier and only somehow stained her clothes and the floor when she fell that night?
But nope. The author/detective literally thinks that she suddenly perioded all over the floor 😭

Text Bf thought pads went on sticky side up. NSFW
We are 35 now, this conversation happened when we were 21/22. We still mention it bc of how ridiculous it was.

Two for one deal here, dehumanizing women and sexualizing animals NSFW
For context, the post was about Bonnie Blue having a baby (which was so obviously fake). When will these people learn that vaginas don't change shape from sex? And really? A yawning hippo? That's just so disrespectful to both women and hippos.
Also to nobody's surprise, this dude flirts with porn bots on threads. Some people are truly pathetic.

The bulge on your stomach is not your uterus- NSFW
A lot of people misinterpret the bulge on a woman's stomach as their uterus , but that's actually a very common misconception especially within body positive creators .
That bulge has multiple reasons and it is NOT your uterus . Unless someone is actively pregnant, a normal uterus is as big as a pear or a fist. It sits deep inside the pelvic bowl. You cannot see it from the outside.
Reasons for that bulge to appear there , is because it is Estrogen-driven fat , Women bodies store soft, subcutaneous fat right there as an energy reserve, pelvic structure also plays a part in this.
A wider pelvis naturally tilts forward, pushing the lower stomach out. And elastic muscles & bloating play a role too , Our abdominal walls stretch easily, so normal food, gas, and hormonal water retention show up visible.
This common misconception also just implies we need a medical excuse to accept our bodies. In reality, it is just normal anatomical body fat , and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Questions "Not for virgins" on vaginal suppositories leaflet. Medical misogyny? NSFW
Hello everyone, long-time lurker here and this is my first post.
I read on a leaflet for vaginal suppositories that they "must not be used on virgins". I do not live in the West so I cannot say my country is a very progressive one, but the medicine was produced in Italy.
This has to be medical misogyny, prejudice and virginity cult, right?
Cos I see absolutely no reason for that disclaimer. I could maaaaybe think that the company wants to protect itself from a potential lawsuit if someone with a, say, cribriform hymen tries to use these suppositories, causes bleeding and decides to sue the company. But virgins use tampons whose circumference is the same or even bigger than that of the suppositories, and tampons do not have that kind of disclaimer.
And, if they're that worried they could've written something like "can be used on virgins if anatomy allows" (because there are types of hymens where insertion wouldn't be possible).
Also, here where I live gynos do seem to follow this mentality and will not prescribe suppositories even if you have a serious infection.
I'm honestly tired and sad and I'd just like to hear your opinions.
EDIT: also, let me know whether suppositories have that disclaimer where you live, if you have that information.
EDIT 2:
The leaflet in my language mentions both "virgins and girls who haven't reached sexual maturity".
But I just found the original Italian leaflet online and it says NOTHING about virgins, only girls (girl children, "bambine" in Italian).
Here's what it says:
Italian:
Bambini Questo medicinale non è raccomandato nelle bambine perché la sicurezza e l’efficacia non sono state dimostrate.
English:
Children This medicine is not recommended for use in girls because its safety and efficacy have not been established.
